Since 1906, we have been part of keeping Louisville (and the Highlands neighborhood) weird. We helped start Highlands Community Ministries, we helped establish the Bardstown Road Farmers' Market, and we continue bringing neighbors together to care for the common good.

Our Mission

To love God with heart, soul, mind, and strength.

And to love our neighbors . . .

our black, grey, white neighbors . . .

our immigrant and native neighbors . . .

our Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist neighbors . . .

   our LGBTQ neighbors . . .

our homeless, addicted, affluent, gentrified neighbors . . .

our racist, consumerist, generous, and selfless and self-serving neighbors . . .

as ourselves.

I said I would go to church, if I could go to Bardstown Road Presbyterian Church. So, my parents brought me as a child of six, on the first Sunday after Christmas. It has made all the difference in my life.
