All glory, laud, and honor
To thee, Redeemer, King
To whom the lips of children
Made sweet hosannas ring
Thou art the King of Israel
Thou David's royal Son
Who in the Lord's name comest
The King and Blessed One
The company of angels
Are praising thee on high
And mortal men and all things
Created make reply
The people of the Hebrews
With palms before thee went;
Our praise and love and anthems
Before thee we present
To thee, before thy passion
They sang their hymns of praise;
To thee, now high exalted
Our melody we raise
Thou didst accept their praises;
Accept the love we bring
Who in all good delightest
Thou good and gracious King

Come work and play in the mountains of Kentucky! We drive over on Sunday afternoon and return Wednesday afternoon. This intergenerational trip has over 20 years of history at BRP. The kids must be rising 6th graders and the adults don’t need special skills. Well, except Joe Anne, who works her magic keeping us nourished.
We stay at guest houses at Buckhorn State Park. It’s a perfect retreat after a hard days’ work. There’s a pool. There’s the lake. There are deer; all of this and mini golf. Our efforts benefit the staff and recovering children who live and work at the Buckhorn Children’s Center. We usually paint, clean or spruce up the grounds. We are welcomed like big city cousins.
Expected costs (for food and comfortable lodging):
Adults $75: Youth $60 Assistance is available.
Call Mary Nebelsick or Jennie Guelda (558-8151).

Presbyterian churches in the area are joining together once again this year to sponsor a new house with Habitat for Humanity. Bardstown Road Presbyterian Church has been working with other Presbyterian churches for over 20 years! This year's house will begin in July, and Bardstown Road Presbyterian's turn to send volunteers to the site will be Saturday, July 28. If you're interested in working that Saturday, or if you'd like to provide part of the lunch for hard-working construction volunteers, please contact Bill Bowman at 452-9151.
